Central Essex Coaching was created in order to meet the needs
of all badminton players, new and experienced, in and around
the Essex area. The name was created as the aim of the
company was to be an integral part of badminton coaching
and development within the county.

C.E.C’s head coach, Simon Hardcastle,
comes with a wealth of badminton
experience, having been himself, an
international men’s singles player and
junior national champion in all three
disciplines. Chris Dakin, another member
of the C.E.C team, is an experienced doubles
player and specialises in coaching the doubles
discipline.

Central Essex Coaching aims to cater for anything the new,
recreational or experienced badminton player might require.
Our goal is to provide services in a safe and enjoyable environmentuk
that will increase participation at grass-roots level, improve the intermediate
player and make world champions from talented young players
